When you’re holding a hog roast Kensington party, it’s all very well making the excellent choice of asking Big Roast to handle the catering side of things, but it’s the little details that make a difference, and enhance the atmosphere of your do. This week, we thought we’d serve up (hoho) some tasty musical treats, some suggestions for a playlist you may want to have belting out during your celebration:
Eat It (‘Weird Al’ Yankovic)- A parody of the Michael Jackson classic ‘Beat It’, except this time, the lyrics are adapted to be more suitable for dining situations. Certainly one to get everyone chuckling along/appetites raging.
Food Glorious Food (Oliver soundtrack)- Everyone loves a musical (apart from Jonny in the office, he’s too cool), and literally everyone in the world (again, apart from Jonny) knows at least a couple of lyrics from this renowned tune, all about being hungry. Which hopefully your guests will be.
Yummy Yummy Yummy (Ohio Express): ‘Yummy yummy yummy, I’ve got love in my tummy…’ warble the beautiful voices of Ohio Express, making us feel all warm and fuzzy on the inside. Hopefully you will too, after you and your guests have tried our delicious canapés, meat and desserts.
If you’ve got impeccable musical tastes, and would like to let us at hog roast Kensington any songs that you would like to see added to this list/celebrated in one of our blogs, please do get in touch. We look forward to hearing from you!
