Cheesy Bread Sticks
This is one of the easiest and tastiest snacks to make when you short of time.
All you will need:
• 1 French loaf
• 1 stick of butter
• Garlic cloves
• Chopped parsley
Simply melt the butter in a pan and mix in the finely chopped garlic. Brush the melted mixture over the French loaf. Cover the bread with cheese and sprinkle over the chopped parsley.
Preheat the oven to 450 degrees F and put the bread in until the cheese is melted.
Creamy Garlic Mashed Potatoes
You can never go wrong with creamy mashed potatoes. Everyone loves it.
All you will need for this is:
• Salt and Pepper
Simply peel and dice the potatoes – make sure they are relatively the same size. Toss in some boiling water and add salt. Boil until they are soft to the touch.
Once the potatoes are soft, place them in a mixing bowl where you will begin to mash them. While mashing, add a splash of milk to lighten the consistency of the potatoes. Add pepper and garlic and mash through.
Transfer into a serving dish and sprinkle with parmesan.
For the health-conscious person, this is a great side dish.
All you will need it:
• Sweet potatoes
• Rosemary and Thyme
• Extra virgin olive oil
• Salt and Pepper
Simply preheat the oven to 475 degrees F, spread out on a baking tray and coat with extra virgin olive oil. Be generous with the salt and pepper and top off with rosemary and thyme.
Roast the veggies for 30-40 minutes, stirring them around at regular intervals of 10 minutes.
